Ludogorets defeated CSKA 1948 3–0, with goals from Kwadwo Duah (penalty), Ivaylo Chochev, and Petar Stanic. With this result, “the Eagles” reduced Levski’s lead to 7 points.
In the first half, the visitors had more possession. Elias Franco and Brian Sobrero both missed chances. However, near the end of the half, CSKA 1948’s experienced midfielder Petar Vitanov conceded a penalty, which Ludogorets capitalized on through Kwadwo Duah. The penalty was awarded after a VAR review—initially, referee Stoyan Arsov did not point to the spot after Vitanov fouled Joel Andersson in the box. He later changed his decision, and Duah made no mistake—1:0.
Ludogorets made it 2–0 in the 56th minute. After a cross from the left by Anton Nedyalkov, Ivaylo Chochev controlled the ball, turned, and skillfully sent it into Petar Marinov’s net. With this goal, Chochev moved to the top of the efbet League scoring chart with 16 goals—one more than Levski’s Everton Bala.
Chochev, a former CSKA 1948 player, was later substituted due to minor discomfort in his left leg. This, however, did not reduce Ludogorets’ attacking strength.
In the 84th minute, Ludogorets’ right-back Joel Andersson made an impressive run down the flank and found Petar Stanic, who had no trouble finishing from close range to make it 3–0.
