
The management of Ludogorets has awarded four of the most promising talents from the Academy with cash prizes, recognizing their key contributions to the strong performance of Bulgaria’s U17 national team. The young “Lions” achieved excellent results – a 1-0 victory over Malta, a convincing 3-0 win against Lithuania, and a 1-1 draw with Azerbaijan, which secured their qualification to Group A of the 2027 European qualifiers.
Central defender Timur Mustafa stood out with solid performances in all three matches, even scoring the goal that earned the draw against Azerbaijan. Goalkeeper Alexander Panayotov also made a significant contribution, participating in two of the matches, while Preslav Stoykov confidently strengthened the defense in two games. In midfield, Yastiyan Georgiev impressed everyone with his active play and consistency, earning widespread praise from football specialists.
In addition to playing a crucial role in Bulgaria’s qualification for the next stage, these four talents made a strong impression on the Bulgarian football community with their performances and reinforced the excellent reputation of the Ludogorets Academy.
