Ludogorets head coach Rui Mota gave a press conference ahead of the second leg against Ferencváros.
“We analyzed the first match. It wasn’t what we wanted to see. Now we know where and why we had problems. We will change some things to eliminate the mistakes and look different. We’re ready for any scenario. Our mentality is not to play for a draw, but to win — and to do it in regular time. Everything is in our hands. We live in the present. We think about what we can control,” Mota said.
“We have strikers, but Dua is injured. Whoever plays in that position will give their all. I’m confident in the team. From the start we’ve said what our goal is — to go as far as possible. We’ll do everything to achieve it,” the Portuguese coach added.
Also present at the press conference was midfielder Filip Kaloč. “We’re also thinking about penalties. In football, everything is possible, and we’re prepared. Even if we win on penalties, we still go through. The atmosphere will be amazing, the stadium is great. Everyone wants to play in front of full stands. We’re ready to move forward. We’re not focusing on the history of matches between the two teams, but on this game. Each of us wants to play in matches like this. The main goal is the Champions League. That’s what we’re all fighting for,” the Czech player said.
