Ludogorets midfielder Filip Kaloc believes that the Razgrad side can win the second leg against Hapoel Tel Aviv by a three-goal margin and overturn the two-goal deficit from the first match in Hungary in order to progress in the Conference League.
“I think that what we failed to do in the first match was not that we didn’t create enough chances, but rather that we made two mistakes from which they scored two goals. We were not dangerous enough in the final third of the pitch, as the coach said. We created only one clear chance,” Kaloc commented.
“Now we have a match at home in front of our supporters. I believe we will progress, especially after the detailed analysis we have made. I believe we will play a good game tomorrow. If we do not believe in what we are doing, then why even step onto the pitch? They are motivated, but so are we. We believe in the strength of our qualities,” he added.
“For me, my first year at Ludogorets was difficult. I hope that at the start of the new season I can show the best of what I am capable of. I am getting playing time, I am receiving minutes on the pitch, and I hope to show the club, the coach, and my teammates that I can offer much more,” the Ludogorets midfielder continued.
“In football, you can score four or five goals in 90 minutes. A two-goal deficit is not that big. I don’t think it will be so difficult. They have an advantage because they scored two goals. In football, nothing is impossible. I believe we can beat them by three goals,” Kaloc said.
