Olivier Verdon: Ludogorets is the best Bulgarian team

Ludogorets’ newest addition Olivier Verdon was introduced by the sports director of the club Georgi Karamandzhukov.

Ludogorets’ newest addition Olivier Verdon was introduced by the sports director of the club Georgi Karamandzhukov. The defender will wear the #24 shirt. He said he has already heard lots of great things about the club.

“I want to give the best I’ve got but we must grow as a team. This is the best Bulgarian team. I know some of the club’s former players and my goal is to develop my skills and to help the team at the same time”, Verdon said.

He mentioned that he is in great shape. “I am ready to play and I have the best teammates who help me accommodate from the first day. We are aimed at winning the match this weekend and then we will think about Europa League”.

“I played with Cafu in Bordeaux and he has shared details about the club with me. The players are all working hard”, Verdon added. “I love fighting for the ball and to decide right while on the pitch. I always strive to score with my head”.

“Every championship is different but what I see here makes me think that the level is rather high. Ludogorets manages to reach the European scene each year and this is no accident, as the club’s players are great and they are the main reason for the nine consecutive championship titles”, Verdon concluded.
