A Benin national football team player joins Ludogorets

The player passed all medical

Benin’s player Olivier Verdon owned by the Spanish club Alaves until recently joined Ludogorets. The player passed all medical examinations and signed his contract. Verdon has a French passport. He will stay at the club for a year under rent with a transfer option. He will be introduced to the media on Thursday, 10th of September at Huvepharma Arena stadium.

Verdon spent a season at KAS Eupen where he entered the pitch 22 times for the championship matches and a couple more for the local cup. Before that, Verdon has played for Bordeaux and Sochaux, as well as Angouleme.

Verdon has played in 20 matches as a part of Benin’s national football team.

“My first impressions from the club are great. I know I joined the best club in Bulgaria”, said Verdon. “I hope I earn my place here”, the 24—year old defender added.

Verdon is the fifth new player to join the club after Santana, Higinio, Tekpetey, and Manu.
