
Bulgarian champions Ludogorets have ended their European campaign for this season after suffering a 0-2 defeat away to Hungarian side Ferencvаros in the Europa League playoff second-leg match.
In the first leg, the “Eagles” had taken a 2-1 advantage in Razgrad, but in Budapest they lost 0-2. The goals for Robbie Keane’s team came before halftime, scored by Gabi Kanyhoski in the 13th minute and the substitute Christopher Zachariasen in the 30th minute.
In the second half, Stanic, Duah, and Tekpetey came close to scoring, but the home goalkeeper made several brilliant saves.
With an aggregate score of 3-2, Ferencváros advanced to the round of 16, where they will face a Portuguese challenge against Porto or Braga.
