Kanichowsky gave the home team the lead in the 32nd minute. Cadu made it 2–0 in the 53rd minute after a collective defensive mistake by Ludogorets. Son scored a very beautiful goal in the 78th minute, and just as the visitors were pushing for an equalizer, Joseph sealed the victory for the Hungarians.
