The Ludogorets U15 team lost 1-2 in their third friendly match of the winter break. For this match, the elite players visited FCSB in Bucharest.
In the first half, the Ludogorets youth controlled the game, maintained possession, and created several goal-scoring opportunities. The visiting goalkeeper had no trouble keeping his net clean, but a single shot on target was enough for the hosts to take the lead and finish the half in their favor.
After the game resumed, the young "Eagles" deservedly scored against FCSB. The equalizing goal in the middle of the second half was scored by Blagovest Michev, who headed the ball into the opponent’s net. The goal came after a corner kick delivered by Simeon Simeonov. However, in the remaining time of the friendly match, the hosts were awarded a penalty, which they converted to make it 1-2. The Ludogorets youth failed to equalize again after missing several chances.
"I am pleased with the performance of the boys today," commented Ludogorets U15 head coach Svetlin Ivanov.
His boys will play a friendly rematch against FCSB (Bucharest) next Saturday in Razgrad.
