Ludogorets is out of the Bulgarian Cup tournament after losing to Levski with a 5:6 score.

Ludogorets was close to scoring in the 4th minute after Marcelinho almost scored with his head. Later, Reis tried to score but he sent the ball straight into Stoyanov’s arms. The keeper saved again in the 18th minute by kicking the ball to the corner. Kostov made another goal attempt after that bur missed the gate. Cauly sent the ball across the field five minutes later and Keseru took advantage but he failed to score. Mijatovic made a mistake six minutes later and Marcelinho received the ball. He tried to score but failed.

Keseru had the chance to score twice before the half time, but both times the ball missed the gate.

Ludogorets created an attack as soon as the second part began but it had no result. Grigore cleared the ball from the goal line in the 53rd minute. Spierings’s powerful kick was not enough for him to score minutes later. Wanderson made another attempt but the keeper had no trouble saving.

A shuffle occurred in the penalty zone of Ludogorets after Milanov kicked the ball from the foul point but nobody was able to create a goal situation. The guest team had the perfect chance to score in the 66th minute: four players against two of the home team were involved in a counter attack but Wanderson ended it without scoring a goal. Keseru passed to Wanderson in the 74th minute but a goal was not scored once again. Tiam fell on the ground three times in the last ten minutes and he clearly had a problem but he kept playing until the end.

Nedyalkov created a situation in the 89th minute but Levski’s defenders did their job. Roberta tried to score seconds later, but Stoyanov saved. Cauly passed to Marcelinho in the last minute of the game, but Eyjolfsson fouled him. Grigore kicked the ball from the foul point but Mijatovic saved and the game continued.

Swierczok kickced the ball low but the keeper saved once again. Spierings also tried to score in the 105th minute but he sent the ball above the crossbar. Milanov’s direct free kick in the 109th minute was good but Stoyanov did a great job saving. Both teams made no mistake in the penalty kicks and a sixth one had to be performed. Eyjolfsson scored but Tchibota missed and Levski continued to the semi-finals.
