Bulgarian champions Ludogorets and Copenhagen ended in a 0:0 draw during a summer training match for the "Eagles" in Austria. While there were no goals, the game was full of exciting moments. Ludogorets hit the post once, while the Danish side struck the woodwork twice. The Bulgarians created several clear chances but lacked precision in the final shot. Copenhagen also had good opportunities, but Sergio Padt stood out with some impressive saves.
Ludogorets’ next friendly is scheduled for July 1st against Hradec Kralove.
In the 9th minute, Bernard Tekpetey showcased great technique and fired a strong shot at the near post, which struck Copenhagen’s right post. Five minutes later, Mattsson made a good run into the penalty area but shot wide. In the 34th minute, Marcos Lopez made a dangerous incursion into the box and shot low, but Padt came out brilliantly to deny him. Moments later, Amin Chiaka was superbly put through one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but again the Ludogorets keeper made a spectacular save. Near the end of the first half, Jakub Piotrowski created space for himself and shot on goal, but it was an easy save for Buur.
In the 52nd minute, Elias Achouri dribbled into the opponent's box and fired a diagonal shot, but it hit the crossbar. Around 20 minutes later, Caio Vidal spotted an opening and took a shot from distance, but the ball missed just wide of Copenhagen’s left post. In the 77th minute, Eric Bille capitalized on a defensive error by the Danes and dribbled well, but his finishing shot went inches wide of the post. Shortly after, Rodrigo Huescas found himself in a great position and unleashed a powerful strike that again hit the crossbar. Immediately after, Ludogorets launched a fast counterattack, and Stanislav Ivanov received a great pass from a teammate and came very close to scoring his debut goal for the "Eagles", but couldn’t finish it in the best way.
