Ludogorets defeated Steaua in a trial game

The U17 formation of Ludogorets defeated 1:0 Steaua’s U17 team in a trial game that took place on one of the fields at the ‘Eagle’s Nest’ club base. The success was the unofficial debut of the new coach Dimcho Nenov.

Both teams performed great but there were only a few goal situations. Ludogorets had a higher motivation and their dedication paid off. Pemperski scored with his head in the 40^th minute, making the score 1:0.

‘This was a great game against a high-class competitor. We won and I am pleased with that, as the score was well-deserved. We have things to work on in terms of technique. The game showed us the flaws and that is a good thing, as we now know what to work on in order to perform great in the championship”, said the coach Nenov after the game.
