Ludogorets missed the chance to defeat CSKA-Sofia at ‘Bulgarian Army’ stadium. The game ended with a 1:1 score and the difference between the teams overall is still 6 points. The game was intense and Ludogorets deserved to win. This was the first even score for the team after 11 wins in a row.

The coach Zdravkov decided to use a typical team composition. He included Lukoki, Goralski and Dyakov but left Campanharo as a replacement.

The first good situation on the field was created by the guest team. Keseru was faster than Chorbadzhiyski and passed to Lukoki who tried to score but failed. Pinto tried his luck in the 12th minute but his attempt was not accurate enough. Wanderson was accused of an offside situation that did not happen at all but it stopped the attack he was part of. Gyasi tried to surprise Renan with a shot from a far distance but he saved.

Ludogorets took the lead in the 29th minute after Wanderson kicked the ball from the corner point and Nedyalkov passed it to Keseru who scored with his head. The guest team created another good attack in the 34th minute. Lukoki passed to Marcelinho but his goal attempt was prevented by the keeper. The ball went to Keseru once again, but he sent it directly into the crossbar. There was an offside situation as well. Gyasi tried to make things hard for Renan a couple of minutes later but the keeper had no trouble saving. The best situation CSKA-Sofia created was in the 40th minute when Despodov kicked the ball form the corner after which Chorbadzhiyski kicked the ball but the keeper saved once again. Pinto attempted a goal three minutes later after a quick shuffle but he sent the ball out.

The referee Yordanov refused to admit the penalty in favor of Ludogorets in the beginning of the second half. Chorbadzhiyski kicked Keseru’s foot instead of the ball but there was not penalty despite that fact. Ludogorets’ players performed great but they could not score a second goal. Despodov passed to Geferson in the 63rd minute and he passed to Sou. He missed the gate. CSKA-Sofia score four minutes later when Gyasi passed to Manolev and the ball eventually went to Despodov. He had no trouble scoring. After that the tension on the field took its toll. Malinov received a yellow card after fouling Natanael. El Maestro decided to replace Malinov with Rodriguez. Ludogorets lost a player in the 89th minute after Cicinho fouled Despodov.
