Ludogorets was able to turn the tables on Botev (Plovdiv). After the home team took the lead with two goals, the champions added three more in the game, which is a part of round IX of the First Professional Football League.

The guest team scored two goals via Yusein and Nedelev in the beginning of the game. However, the champions turned the score around after the half time. Moti scored from the penalty point in the 58th minute, and Mahlangu added a second goal with his head just four minutes later. Marcelinho scored the winning goal in the end of the game with the assistance of Mahlangu.

Botev scored the first goal in the 8th minute. Yusein was able to pass by Moti and his precise shot did not leave any chance for Renan to save. The home team shocked Ludogorets once again in the 14th minute when Nedelev scored from the foul point with his left foot. Keseru had the perfect chance to score a few minutes later, but failed to score despite the fact that he was alone against the keeper. Yusein passed to Dimitrov in the 41st minute and he tried to score with his head, but the ball went straight into Renan’s hands.

Ludogorets completely changed their tactic after the half time. Autuori’s players initiated one attack after another and this led to their success. Mahlangu joined the action which was a key moment. Cicinho was fouled by Afonso in the 58th minute and the referee Stoyanov decided that it was a penalty. Moti scored from the penalty point, making the score 2:1. Mahlangu made the score even just four minutes later after a nice attack. Lukoki passed to him and the new recruit scored with his head. Nedelev was in a good position to score in the 70th minute, but he sent the ball over the crossbar. Ludogorets responded with a powerful shot by Mahlangu who sent the ball just a few centimeters over the crossbar. Marcelinho had the chance to turn the score around just six minutes later, but the keeper saved. However, he did it later with Mahlangu’s assistance. Marcelinho scored by kicking the ball with his heel in the 88th minute and became the hero of the evening.
