Dambrauskas: I think we will be celebrating after tomorrow’s match

The head coach of Ludogorets, Valdas Dambrauskas, spoke at a press conference regarding tomorrow’s rematch.

The head coach of Ludogorets Valdas Dambrauskas, spoke at a press conference regarding tomorrow’s rematch.

The Lithuanian said that his team must not underestimate Olympiacos.

“We cannot compare the competitor to what Olympiacos used to be 10 years ago. They are the champion of Greece and we will have a hard time tomorrow. We will be truly victorious if we take them out but we must be confident to do so. The paychecks and the club history do not matter on the pitch. We will be happy after this rematch; I am confident”.

“Immediately after the first match, the players had days off. We got together after a couple of days and trained. We are happy with our progress and I know that the players need to restore their physical and mental strength. We will see how tonight’s practice session goes. As I’ve said before, they do not need additional motivation. We can always do better but the first match was okay. I expect us to show what we are capable of tomorrow”.
