Ludogorets missed the chance to defeat Slovan

Ludogorets and Slovan (Bratislava) achieved an even 1:1 score in the last trial game in Belek

Ludogorets and Slovan (Bratislava) achieved an even 1:1 score in the last trial game in Belek. The Bulgarian champions lost three of the other games and won two. Slovan is the best Slovakian team in the moment. The team captain is Vasil Bozhikov who missed this game because of an injury. Alen Ojbolt replaced Andraz Sporar who was purchased by Sporting Lisbon for six million Euros.

Pavel Vrba tried to set the pace but the Slovaks reacted in an aggressive manner. Anicet and Marcelinho suffered as a result of that. Keseru tried to score half an hour after the game began but the keeper saved. Marcelinho almost scored immediately after that but the keeper saved intervened again. Nothing interesting happened until the end of the first half. There was some tension on the field because of the rough attitude of the Slovaks.

Marcelinho passed to Jorginho in the 48th minute but he was blocked and could not kick the ball the way he wanted to. Manolev tried to pass the ball to Keseru 11 minutes later but the situation did not lead to a goal. Slovan took the lead a few minutes later when Nono surprised Iliev and scored. Ludogorets made the score even fast. Keseru passed to Jorginho who did not hesitate to score and the result became 1:1.

Moha had the chance to add a second goal for Slovan but he missed the target. Rotao hit the woodwork in the 73rd minute. Jorginho did the same 13 minutes before the game ended. He had the chance to score again minutes later but he sent the ball straight into the keeper’s arms. Cauly missed after Manolev passed the ball to him in the very last minute of the game but the Brazilian missed the gate.

The first official game for Ludogorets will be on Sunday against Botev (Vratsa).
