A referee stood in the way of Ludogorets’ win

Ludogorets and Cherno More reached an even 1:1 score after an intense game in Razgrad.

Ludogorets and Cherno More reached an even 1:1 score after an intense game in Razgrad.

The referee Kabakov became an important factor after depriving the home team from the right to a penalty kick despite it was earned. Even worse, he canceled Keseru’s goal for no reason. All of this happens prior to an important game. Ludogorets will meet Ferencvaros on the 12th of December.

The coach of Ludogorets Stanislav Genchev picked the best players for the game with Cherno More.

Ludogorets created the first serious goal situation in the 12th minute. Nedyalkov passed to Keseru who immediately gave Lukoki the ball. Mitrovic was determined to save and he did so. Hantakias blocked Wanderson a couple of minutes later. Cherno More was close to scoring in the 19th minute but Isa did not take full advantage of the situation. Ludogorets was out of luck in the 28th minute when Lukoki sent the ball out after Cicinho passed him the ball.

‘The Eagles’ had another chance for a goal ten minutes before the first half ended. Wanderson passed to Marcelinho who was not able to find the target.

Cherno More shocked the home team in the 43rd minute. Rodrigo passed to Isa who did not catch the ball, bit Aktau did and scored. An immediate counter attack followed but Ludogorets was not able to score, because Keseru sent the ball straight into Mitrovic’s arms.

The home team applied pressure on the opponent as soon as the second half began, but there were no goal situations. Isa missed the gate in the 58th minute, after which Iliev stopped Aktau’s goal attempt. Genchev replaced Anicet with Swierczok who tried to score in the 71st minute but Mitrovic kicked the ball back.

Just seconds later Ludogorets earned the right to a penalty kick. Mitrovic failed to catch the ball and it hit Andrade in the arm which was not flush to his body. However, the referee remained silent. Nedyalkov passed to Marcelinho in the 81st minute but Mitrovic saved..

Ludogorets evened the score three minutes later when Swierczok scored after receiving a pass from Nedyalkov. The most arguable moment in the game happened another three minutes later. Keseru was ecstatic about the goal he just scored, but Kabakov insisted there was a foul against the goalkeeper Mitrovic, who actually collided with a teammate and Keseru simply took advantage of that situation. The goal was legit, but Kabakov decided something different.

Badji passed to Swiervczok in the added time and the Polish player sent the ball straight into the keeper’s body. Cicinho and Isa had an argument in the 92nd minute and the Ludogorets player left the field after knocking Isa down.
