Ludogorets did it again!  They entered the Europa League group phase after defeating Torpedo (Kutaisi). Paulo Autuori’s players defeated the Georgian team with a 4:0 score and with a total score of 5:0 they continue ahead in the tournament. Misidjan scored in the sixth minute, Campanharo scored two goals (38th and 60th minutes) and Wanderson added the fourth goal in the 62nd minute. This is the fifth time the team qualifies for the group phase of a European tournament.

Ludogorets defeated Torpedo easily because of the difference in class. ‘The Eagles’ showed quality football and created skillful attacks.

In this game Autuori included ten of the players who played in the first match in Georgia. The difference was that Renan replaced Broun in the game.

Ludogorets showed their higher class since the start of the game. They showed that as soon as the sixth minute when Keseru passed to Misidjan who scored by sending the ball between two defenders and left no chance for the keeper. Wanderson passed to Misidjan seven minutes later, but this time he missed the gate. A few more goal situations followed in front of Torpedo’s gate. Ludogorets created them easily, which we used to see a lot more before. Marcelinho passed to Cicinho in the 19th minute, but his attempt was stopped by the keeper. Cicinho had the ball again seconds later, but the keeper saved again. Torpedo showed some attitude a couple of minutes later. Dopidze kicked the ball from the corner point, Lacny jumped and tried to score, but Renan saved, showing fantastic skills. This situation and similar ones were the only way the guest team could be a threat. Campanharo passed to Wanderson in the 25th minute and the attacker tried to score, but he missed. Five minutes later Dolidze tried to score, but Renan kicked the ball back into a corner. All these missed situations made Ludogorets’ defense line nervous and they decided to score no matter what. They did it in the 38th minute when Wanderson passed to Keseru who tried to score with his head, but the keeper saved. However, he got in control of the ball again and scored seconds after that.

The pace slowed down in the second half. Wanderson calmly passed to Campanharo in the 60th minute and he easily added a third goal for Ludogorets. Misidjan passed to Wanderson a couple of minutes later and he had no trouble making the score 4:0.
