Ludogorets’ management organized a press conference prior to the start of the new season.

Ludogorets’ management organized a press conference prior to the start of the new season. The sports management director Georgi Karamandzhukov introduced the new players - Sergio Padt and Claude Gonçalves.

“I want to thank everyone for the warm welcome. I played in the Netherlands for seven years. Ludogorets is the top Bulgarian team. The club wants to enter the Champions League and I want the same. We bonded immediately and we agreed to sign a contract”, Padt said.

“Ludogorets is a respected club with ambitions to enter the European tournaments. This is what I want and this is why I joined the club. I know all about the team because they have a presence on the European scene. I want to be a champion”, Gonçalves added.

“The players we introduced today were attracted immediately after New Year. We wanted them to join us in January but their transfers were delayed. They are now free agents. I wish them success and I must say we agreed with both of them very quickly. They want to be champions”, Karamandzhukov commented.
