Stoicho Stoev returns to Ludogorets

The management of PFC Ludogorets and Stoicho Stoev reached an agreement and he will join the club again.

The management of PFC Ludogorets and Stoicho Stoev reached an agreement and he will join the club again. The negotiations were finalized last night and the professional is expected to arrive in Razgrad and sign his contract. Antoni Zdravkov who was ahead of the team until not will remain part of the team.

The experienced coach Stoev will be introduced on Thursday (7th of March) at 12:00 a.m. in the conference hall of the Moti grandstand at Ludogorets Arena stadium. Later the same day Stoev will lead the team during their first practice session together.

PFC Ludogorets would like to thank PFC Arda for their professional attitude and understanding.

Stoev was ahead of the team in 2013 and  2014 and the club was able to became the champion of Bulgaria, and they won the Super Cup as well. The team qualified for the UEFA Europa League group phase for the first time in 2013. Ludogorets won five of the group phase games and achieved one even score. They stood against team such as PSV (Eindhoven), Chernomorets (Odessa) and Dinamo (Zagreb). Under Stoev’s guidance Ludogorets defeated Lazio in the 1/16 finals and later lost to Valencia at the 1/8 finals.
