Ludogorets defeated the Second League leader

4 December 2019

The overall First League leader – Ludogorets – defeated 3:0 Septemvri, the Second League. Vladislav Stoyanov finally joined ‘The Eagles’. He was part of the second team until recently.

Ludogorets took the lead in the 9th minute after Badji passed to Dyakov, and eventually Moti received the ball and scored.

Swierczok had the chance to score in the 13th minute but Galev stole the ball. Ludogorets added a second goal six minutes later. Badji passed to Swierczok whose powerful kick resulted in a goal.

Septemvri created a situation in the 24th minute when Gavrilov tried to score. He made another attempt after that but the Brazilian goalkeeper did his job brilliantly.

Ludogorets was close to a third goal in the 33rd minute. Galev saved Swierczok’s attempt but Cicinho took control over the ball. He was not able to score, though. Renan saved another goal attempt just five minutes later.

Dyakov almost scored in the 42nd minute but the keeper saved. Nikolov almost scored in the 55th minute but he hit the woodwork. Just seconds later Stoyanov fouled Cicinho and Tchibota scored the third goal from the direct free kick point.

Swierczok, Biton and Tchibota each made their goal attempts later, but none of them were successful.
