Dimitar Dimitrov: “We need to have a serious approach to the rematch with Milan"

22 February 2018

The coach of Ludogorets Dimitar Dimitrov is feeling optimistic about the rematch against Milan, which is part of the 1/16 finals of the UEFA Europa League.

“I cannot tell yet if Milan would underestimate us. We have to be as serious as we could be for this game. No matter what the chances are, we have to respond to the challenge as expected. The important thing is to show quality football. I wish we have all the luck on our side”, said Dimitrov.

“Keseru has a penalty, and Lukas Sasha is injured and will be out for a few weeks. We did not lose the last game solely by chance. We also lost to Milan’s class. I am grateful to Gattuso for the kind words after the first game, but we must analyze our mistakes. I am striving for a good performance and if we achieve something, I would be very satisfied”, Dimitrov added.
