Bulgarian women’s champions end their European campaign

Ludogorets’ women’s team lost 0–2 to Mitrovica in a match from the first qualifying round of the UEFA Women’s Champions League, played in Pristina.

The Bulgarian champions conceded one goal in each half, bringing their participation in this year’s European club competition to an end.

“For us, this was invaluable experience. The team gave everything they had, and the only thing I can do is congratulate the girls,” said head coach Hristos Dokov.

Through their participation in the Champions League, the “Eagles” gained valuable international experience, which will serve as an important foundation for their future development. The team is now fully focused on the upcoming season in the Bulgarian league, where they will aim to defend their championship title and build on the successes they have achieved.
