Ludogorets head coach Per-Mathias Hogmo spoke at a press conference ahead of the home match against Nice from the final eighth round of the UEFA Europa League main phase. The team from Razgrad need a victory to advance to the knockout stage. The match at Huvepharma Arena takes place tomorrow, January 29, at 22:00.
“I’m happy that we will play this match at home, at this great stadium, with these amazing fans. We’ve had quite intense and tactical training sessions. The whole group is motivated for this game. The focus has to be on our work. All the players are focused. We’ll see what happens,” Høgmo said firmly.
Defender Olivier Verdon also took part in the briefing.
“For me, this is a special match. Many of my friends from France have called me. I want to show them that Ludogorets are a good team that can compete with a strong French side. We are well prepared and we want to win the three points. I used to know one player from Nice, but he’s no longer there. From tomorrow until the end of the season, every match will be a final for us. We want to win all the trophies. After Nice, we have the Super Cup match against Levski,” the defender stated.
