Cherno More and Ludogorets finished 0–0 at “Ticha” Stadium. The first real chance of the match came for Caio Vidal, who fired a rocket toward Kristian Tomov’s goal, but the keeper saved it comfortably. After half an hour of play, Erick Bile made a good run down the right and found Tekpetey, who couldn’t take a shot; the ball fell to Caio Vidal again, but his attempt was extremely inaccurate. Just five minutes later, Son delivered a fine free-kick cross that Dinis Almeida met with his head, but the ball went wide. Cherno More immediately responded with a dangerous header from Vasil Panayotov after a good cross by Dani Martin, but Sergio Padt made a skillful save.

Ludogorets then tried a rehearsed set piece: substitute Ivan Yordanov took a good shot, but Tomov was again in the right place.
