Ludogorets lost 4-5 in their away match against CSKA 1948 in Bistritsa. The hosts took the lead through Mamadou Diallo in the 3rd minute. Tekpetey then equalized, before Elias Franco and Brian Subero scored to give the hosts a 3-1 lead.
Olivier Verdon scored an own goal, and Borislav Tsonev made it 5-1. Towards the end of the match, Ludogorets pushed forward and scored three quick goals – an own goal by Hofmann and two headers by Ivaylo Chochev. However, there was no time for more.
