Benfica (Portugal) and Fenerbahce (Turkyie) secure fifth and sixth place at "VIVACOM CUP"

The players from the Benfica Academy (Portugal) claimed fifth place in The "VIVACOM CUP" International Youth Football Tournament. In the placement match, they earned a 2:0 victory over Fenerbahce (Turkyie), who finished in sixth place.

During the four-day competition, Benfica's youth team recorded two draws and one loss prior to the final placement match. They drew 1:1 with PAOK (Greece), suffered a 0:2 defeat to the champions from Dinamo (Tbilisi), and finished with a goal-filled 3:3 draw against FCSB (Romania).

Fenerbahce’s youth squad registered two losses and one draw throughout the tournament. They were defeated 0:3 by the champions Ludogorets and 0:2 by their peers from Partizan (Serbia). Their only point came in a 1:1 draw against Odil Akhmedov Academy (Uzbekistan).
