Dinamo Tbilisi youth defeat Benfica 2:0

The youth team from Dinamo Tbilisi Academy claimed a 2:0 victory over their peers from Portuguese champions Benfica. The match kicked off the second day of The International Youth Ffootball Tournament VIVACOM CUP, held at one of the pitches in the “Eagles’ Nest” complex.

The Georgian champions in the U14 age group continue their impressive run in the tournament, having recorded an identical 2:0 win in their opening match against FCSB (Romania). The Benfica youngsters, meanwhile, suffered defeat just hours after drawing 1:1 against PAOK (Greece).

Today’s second day of the VIVACOM CUP tournament continues with matches between PAOK and FCSB, and Partizan vs. Odil Akhmedov Academy at the “Eagles’ Nest” complex. The day will culminate in a thrilling showdown between the young “Eagles” from the Ludogorets and Fenerbahce Academies at Huvepharma Arena.
