PAOK and Benfica youth teams draw after a strong performance

The youth players from the academies of PAOK and Benfica could not outplay each other in the third match of the “VIVACOM CUP” tournament. The champions of their age groups from Greece and Portugal, respectively, delivered a strong performance that ended in a 1:1 draw.

PAOK’s academy team was the first to take the lead, scoring in the first half. Toward the end of the second half, their opponents from Benfica managed to equalize after missing several chances earlier. The match unfolded in front of passionate supporters of both teams in the stands of the “Eagles’ Nest” complex.

Tomorrow’s tournament schedule begins with an early clash between Benfica and Dinamo (Tbilisi), followed by a match between PAOK and FCSB.
