Ludogorets’ U14 players made a strong start at the international youth football tournament "VIVACOM CUP", claiming a dominant 5–0 victory in their opening match against the champions from the Odil Akhmedov Academy.
Coached by Trifon Panev, the young “Eagles” showed complete dominance throughout both halves, proving themselves to be the better side on the pitch. They led 1–0 at halftime thanks to a goal from Nik Georgiev. After the break, Yoan Yordanov doubled the lead, followed by two goals from Rayan Dimitrov to make it 4–0. Gabriel Vasilev sealed the final score at 5–0.
“We’re satisfied with the result from the first game, but we didn’t show our full potential — something we hope to demonstrate in the upcoming matches,” commented U14 head coach Trifon Panev after the final whistle.
This year’s edition of the "VIVACOM CUP" International Youth Football Tournament is heating up the football scene with some of Europe’s top youth teams — national champions and future football stars. The competition, which runs through Monday, features teams such as Benfica (Portugal), Fenerbahce (Turkiyie), PAOK (Greece), Partizan (Serbia), FCSB (Romania), and Dinamo (Georgia).
