After the junior national team and top scorer of the elite groups Filip Gigov signed a professional contract with Ludogorets, the 16-year-old talent from the Eagles Academy Elisey Sarov did the same. The two are currently in a preparatory camp with the men's team of the champions in Austria. Surov, who is of Russian descent, and Gigov have taken part in the Eagles' controls so far and earned the praise of head coach Georgi Dermendzhiev.
"I am grateful to my teammates and the coaching staff for the help and care they give me and the other young players. There are great footballers in the team and it is an honor for me to train and play with them", said Elisey Sarov.
It is expected that other talented boys from the school, to whom offers have already been made, will sign professional contracts with Ludogorets in the coming days.
