Ludogorets won against CSKA 3:0 in the derby of the 5th round of the First League, deepening the crisis in Nestor El Maestro's team. With this success the Eagles are now 4 points ahead of their big rival after 4 games played by both teams.
Ivaylo Petev's players started the match with a bang, taking the lead in the 8th minute. Then Kiril Despodov crossed from a direct free kick and Rhuan Cruz's headed left no chance for Gustavo Bustato. In the 33rd minute, Ludogorets doubled its lead. Kiril Despodov executed a free kick, Ivan Yordanov skipped and the ball reached Aslak Von Witry. He took a shot, the ball ricocheted off Seini Sanyang and into Gustavo Busato's net for 2:0.
In the 53rd minute Ludogorets received a penalty for Ivan Turitsov's handball after Rhuan Cruz's kick. She was convicted after the intervention of the VAR. Kiril Despodov shot from the penalty spot making it 3:0.
20 minutes later Ludogorets was down one man. Sonko Sundberg received a straight red card. In the continuation of the match Ivan Yordanov could have made it 4:0 but his shot hit the crossbar.
