Ludogorets played very strong and was on the verge of a prestigious success over the giant Shakhtar Donetsk. But the victory was taken away by a Turkish judge, who did everything possible to prevent the Ukrainians from losing. He first missed a foul in an attack on Manuel Shaw after the Ukrainians made it 1-2, then saw a non-existent penalty deep in stoppage time from which Bondarenko equalised.

It is curious that three friendly games between these two teams ended with a score of 2:2, and one with 0:3 for the Ukrainians.

The team of Razgrad started stronger. In the 19th minute a very nice combination of Ludogorets ended with a pass by Despodov, who led Naressi alone against Pyatov, but the experienced guard of the Ukrainians dived and kicked into the corner. In the 26th minute, there was a good chance for the Ukrainians, but Padt saved Sikan's low-angle shot. In the return attack, Igor Thiago opened the scoring for the Bulgarian team. In a quick attack, captain Anton Nedyalkov passed from the left with an outside curl with his right foot, the Brazilian took control of the penalty spot and opened from close range. Almost immediately after that, Nonato doubled up. This happened after another assist from Nedyalkov, who again served the ball to the spot for the execution of a penalty, but this time after a pass on the ground.

Kiril Despodov had a great opportunity to make it 3-0 in the 43rd minute, freeing himself well from two defenders for the Ukrainian giants, but his left-footed shot was weak and Pyatov saved.

The second half started with another goal for Ludogorets. It was the work of Bernard Tekpetey, but it was disallowed as Igor Thiago, who was offside, was influencing the play. Shakhtar's Jurasek then tried to surprise Padt, but was over the bar. In the 66th minute, the Ukrainian goalkeeper Puzankov made an impressive save after a masterful strike from a foul by Kiril Despodov. Even the beam after the kill helped the young Puzankov. Seconds later, Despodov tried his sights again from a direct free kick, but this time he missed the target.

In the 72nd minute, Shakhtar Donetsk reduced the score. Lacina Traore was accurate. Manuel Shaw was pushed out. The football player of Ludogorets fell on the grass, but the referee did not give a foul. Padt saved a shot in the direction of his own goal, but Lacina Traore could not make a mistake.

At the end of the game, the Ukrainian international Zubkov made an excellent break from the right, but came into position instead of beating, he passed, which was good for the Ludogorets defense.

In the continuation of the match, the referee awarded an extremely comical penalty to Shakhtar. It was adjudged for a handball on Jakub Piotrowski, which he didn't have, because the ball hit the Pole in the thigh. However, after some disputes, Bondarenko stood behind the ball, who sent Padt into the other corner - 2:2.
