The new right back of Ludogorets Aslak von Vitri was presented in Sofia by the sports director Georgi Karamandzukov.
"I haven't been to Bulgaria yet, everything looks very good. I am impressed with the club and the country too. I haven't heard much about Levski Sofia, but I know it's one of the big teams in Bulgaria. If the coach decides to use me, I am 100% ready to take part and he will be able to count on me. Ludogorets has been playing in Europe for several years, a big club in Europe with a good name. This is the reason why I chose to come here. He has won the title many times and both with the coach have similar future ambitions.
I come from Sweden where derbies are played in front of 50 thousand people, so 20-30 thousand is okay. Stadiums are made for fans. I can't compare Ludogorets with AZ Alkmaar, but it's a step forward for me as I'll be playing in Europe. There are probably differences in the level of championships. To win the title and play in Europe - those are my goals here. I want to improve as a footballer and take the next step. I am an attacking right back and I like to be in the opponent's box. Our Europa League group has big clubs and good opponents. We hope to be with the attitude to win the three points at home. We need to be in a top shape to take points from them. There will be interesting games," commented Von Vitri.
