Stanislav Genchev: The draw decided we will have a hard time but we expected it

The assistant coach at Ludogorets Stanislav Genchev commented on the UEFA Europa League draw.

The assistant coach at Ludogorets Stanislav Genchev commented on the UEFA Europa League draw. Ludogorets shares a group with Tottenham, LASK, and Royal Antwerp.

“We had tough luck because all the other teams are great. We never thought it would be easy. We proved we can play good in Europe and I hope we make it through the group phase”, said the specialist.

“Football is interesting because nobody knows the outcome. Tottenham is our main competitor but I hope we defeat them at least once. We aim at going through the whole group phase. We did it last year and I hope we do the same now. We also need to be serious and study our competitors. I personally hope we play in front of full stadiums, too”, Genchev added.
