Ludogorets had no trouble defeating 4:0 Valur, thus qualifying for the UEFA Europa League third preliminary round where ‘The Eagles’ will stand against TNS FC from Wales.

The home team coach Stoev chose an odd defense tactic. Forster and Terziev were defending the center while Grigore was left as a replacement. Keseru was leading the attacks and Tchibota and Jorginho supported him. Moti was not included because of his penalty and Dyakov was ill so he also missed the game.

The main keeper of Valur Haldorsson returned and took part in this game. He was able to save a penalty kick performed by Messi at the 2018 Mondial. Haldorsson missed the first game because of an injury.

Ludogorets began the game by applying pressure. Tchibota passed to Keseru in the second minute of the game but the Romanian sent it out of the field. Terziev made a mistake seconds after that and Pedersen got to the ball. His attempt to score was not successful and Iliev saved. Keseru almost scored in the following counter attack.

Keseru passed to Jorginho in the 6th minute and Biton received the ball after that. His kick resulted in a ricochet in Hedlund’s body which ended in a goal. Another good attack was organized in the 14th minute. Ikoko passed to Jorginho and he took a chance but Haldorsson saved. Biton tried to score immediately after that but he was blocked.

Ikoko scored the second goal in the 24th minute after Biton and Tchibota played with the ball. After this goal the team began playing at a steady pace and controlled the game.

Nedyalkov kicked the ball but it was off the target. Jorginho was able to outplay two of Valur’s defenders but Haldorsson stopped him.

Keseru received the ball from Biton in the 56th minute but he was not able to score. This was repeated seconds later but this time his miss was unforgivable. Pedersen tried to score in the 61st minute but Iliev stopped him.

Swierczok scored just a few seconds after entering the field in the 82nd minute. After just one minute he received a pass from Nedyalkov and scored the fourth goal for Ludogorets.
