Ludogorets U16 boys recorded a 1-0 win in their last friendly game. For it, they welcomed the opponents from the Romanian FCSB on their field in the Eagles' Nest complex.
Success for his team was ensured by Veselin Atanasov. He brought the win in the 65th minute. The scorer scored an elegant shot in the lower right corner of FCSB's goal after a breakthrough and an assist by Chem Andonov. His reach with the beam also helped him.
After securing a 1:0 lead, the people of Razgrad had the opportunity to increase their lead again through Veselin Atanasov after a breakthrough and parallel pass by Timur Mustafa, but the ball was cleared off the goal line. In both halves, Ludogorets players managed to create a number of scoring opportunities. During the first part of the meeting, Vasil Ivanov, Petar Klyavkov, and Cem Andonov were reported to miss.
"It turned out to be a nice, two-edged game in which we created enough chances to score. I congratulate the boys for giving their all, even though the weather was difficult to play", commented the head coach of Ludogorets U16 Milen Maronov.
The next match of his Eagles will already be part of the program of the native Elite Championship under 16 years old. In the first official meeting, the residents of Razgrad will welcome the team of Hebar (Pazardzhik) at home.
