Ludogorets youth scored with the national team for 2:0 against Moldova U16

Kaloyan Bozhkov of the Ludogorets U16 Elite Team scored the second goal in the Junior National Team's win against Moldova. The match was the first of a series of UEFA Development Tournament matches played in Moldova.

Midway through the second half, the Eagles midfielder capitalized on a cross at the back post following a corner, which he coolly slotted into the Moldovan net. Bozhkov's beautiful goal made the final score 2:0 in favor of Bulgaria U16.

The national teams for the first meeting dressed three more teammates of Bozhkov from Ludogorets, who went on the field at the very beginning of the match. Goalkeeper Plamen Penev, midfielder Ilian Gatinski and right defender Nikolay Nikolov performed at a high level.

Bulgaria U16 will play against Armenia on the 25th, and against North Macedonia on the 28th.
