Ludogorets U17 won a big international tournament

Ludogorets U17 achieved a huge success by winning the international youth tournament in Samokov and Govedartsi guided by the legendary former coach Hristo Bonev.

Ludogorets U17 achieved a huge success by winning the international youth tournament in Samokov and Govedartsi guided by the legendary former coach Hristo Bonev. The new Academy coach Yordan Yurukov guided his team through the 2:0 win in the finals. The team defeated Vardar (Skopje). Petrov scored the first goal in the 4th minute and Gospodinov added the second in the 25th minute.

Before reaching the final game, the team became the leader in their group. They achieved an even 1:1 score against Steaua (Bucharest) and a devastating 9:2 win against CSKA 1948. They also won against Vardar with a 2:0 score. The semi-final game against Lokomotiv (Plovdiv) ended with an even score but the total score after the penalty kicks was 7:6.
