Ludogorets Academy celebrated their successes achieved during the 2017/2018 season on Saturday night as part of the event in honor of the seventh consecutive championship title of the first team. The youth players brought a lot of joy to their fans and they deserved to pass through the Champions’ arch during the half-time of the Ludogorets – Levski game.

Yuri Vasev’s boys from the U19 formation received their cup for becoming national champions in the Elite group up to 19 years of age. The managing director of BFU Borislav Popov personally awarded the team. They deserved the gold medals after a strong season in which they broke two records – for the most scored goals in total and for most scored goals in a single match. Vasev’s players also received the award for best Academy team during the 2017/2018 season.

The Ludogorets U15 team received the cup for their first place in the 'Varna' zone, which was given to them by the BFU representative for Razgrad – Dincher Karov. The team has yet to fight for the championship title.

The young talents were happy to receive six individual awards, too. Umut Hakif was awarded for best keeper among the boys born in 2005. Kostadin Iliev became the best defender among those born in 2002. Stefan Statev was awarded as the best midfielder of all players born in 2003, and Dimitar Mitkov who plays in the U19 team was awarded the best attacker.
