The head coach of Ludogorets Georgi Dermendzhiev spoke at the press conference in Baku before the visit of the Eagles to Qarabag. The first match of the third qualifying round of the Champions League is on Tuesday at 19:00.

"The team is in a good mood and I think we are ready for the match. Ludogorets is getting very close to its optimal form. Qarabag also played a match in which its main players did not take part", commented Dermendzhiev.

"We want to make a good tournament result in order to have the opportunity in Razgrad to finish what we started," continued the Eagles coach.

He also commented on the expectations for full stands in the visit of Qarabag. "Ludogorets always played well when the stands were full, regardless of which team was supported," emphasized the specialist.

"I always appreciated him as a coach. It is better for a team when the coach works for a longer time and the opportunity to present his ideas. Kurbanov is doing it very well and I can see that, in addition to the team being the champion, it is also performing well in the European tournaments."

"We want to go step by step. Let this match finish and from there we will think about Dinamo (Zagreb)," said Dermendzhiev about the draw, which was drawn today at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon.
