Ludogorets scores late to beat Levski

Ludogorets defeated Levski 1-0 at “Gerena” in the derby of the 33rd round of the efbet League.

The match was decided in the very final moments. In the 89th minute, Ludogorets took the lead. Anton Nedyalkov dispossessed Mustafa Sangare, the ball reached Erick Marcus, who immediately set up Petar Stanic. The Serbian shot, and after a deflection, the ball ended up in the net past Svetoslav Vutsov.

Levski immediately launched an attack and appeared to score. Mustafa Sangare sent the ball into the Ludogorets net following a free-kick cross from Mazir Sula. However, the goal was disallowed due to a prior foul by Akram Buras against Petar Stanic.

With this result, champions Levski remain on 76 points, while Ludogorets move into second place with 63 points, one more than CSKA (second) and CSKA 1948 (third).
