Ludogorets and Levski ended in a 0:0 draw in the derby of the round. With this result, the reigning champions remain two points behind the Blues.
The match was evenly contested, with a focus on physical battles. In the first half, referee Gidzhenov awarded a soft penalty in favor of Levski, which was correctly overturned after a VAR review. Ludogorets had two good chances to score, but Ivaylo Chochev failed to convert. The home team also created several opportunities, but Sergio Padt and the defense in front of him handled them well.
In the second half, Ludogorets controlled the game and didn’t allow Levski to create any clear goal-scoring chances. At the other end, Erick Bile missed a one-on-one opportunity against Svetoslav Vutsov, and in the final minute, Matheus Machado could have secured the win for the "Eagles" after a poor play by Vutsov. In the last minute of stoppage time, Sergio Padt made an excellent save from a direct free kick by Rildo Filho, deflecting the ball for a corner.
