Ludogorets drew 1-1 away against Cherno More in a match from the efbet League, played under extremely tough weather conditions at the "Ticha" stadium in Varna. The frozen pitch had a major impact on the game, preventing the "Eagles" from showing their full potential, even though they dominated most of the match.
The visitors from Razgrad took the lead in the 35th minute when Jakub Piotrowski calmly converted the penalty awarded for a handball by Vladko Drubarov. The Polish midfielder gave no chance to the Cherno More goalkeeper, putting Ludogorets in front.
However, at the very end of the first half, the hosts took advantage of a rare mistake in the Ludogorets defense. Nikolai Zlatev, with a precise header, gave no chance to the Ludogorets goalkeeper, restoring the equalizer – 1-1 in the 45th minute.
In the second half, Ludogorets applied significant pressure and created several good chances to score, but the heavy pitch and the hosts' compact defense prevented the visitors from finding the back of the net again.
Thus, the "Eagles" missed the opportunity to get back on the winning track, but after the round, they still have an 8-point lead over second-placed Levski.
