Ludogorets defeated 3:0 Septemvri

Ludogorets kicked off the new First league season with a 3:0 win against Septemvri (Sofia).

Ludogorets kicked off the new First league season with a 3:0 win against Septemvri (Sofia). Santana, Cauly, and Sotiriou scored the winning goals. The home team was a player short for about 70 minutes after Peshov was given a red card in the 22nd minute.

The match started with a 2-minute delay because Septemvri’s net was torn and a staff member had to fix it.

The guests took the lead in the 11th minute when Tissera passed the ball to Santana. The latter outplayed Sheytanov and scored. The foal was confirmed by the VAR system. Peshov knocked down Jonathan in the 22nd minute and left the pitch as mentioned above. Tissera and Nedyalkov both missed their chances to score after that.

The second part was marked by two attacks by Jonathan. Cauly scored in the 55th minute after Santana passed him the ball. Sotiriou shaped the final score in the 79th minute. The scorer was a replacement player, but that did not stop him from scoring a goal with his left foot.

Ludogorets added a penalty kick to the score, but the VAR system overruled it.
