The Bulgarian champion Ludogorets lost the battle with Dinamo Zagreb at the Maksimir Stadium, after a decisive goal scored against them in a scandalous 8 minute additional time.
The match ended with a scoring of 3:2, and Ludogorets had to continue with one fewer player after a contestable red card for Marcelinho. That’s how “the eagles” were thrown out of the return match of Champions league Second qualifying round, although they prevailed over the Croatian leader in both matches.

The scoring was open by the captain Gargorov, who caught a ball passed by Ivan Stoyanov, in the 12th minute.
Dinamo evened the score after Vrsaljko’s side kick from the right, and Rukavina, left unguarded, sent the ball with head under Golubovic’s crossbar.

A new attack just three minutes later and Ludogorets took the lead again. After a foul Ivan Stoyanov took control over the ball and after his side kick in the penalty area Marcelinho broke through two defenders and stroke the goalkeeper Kelava.

A referee decision sent Marcelinho in the changing room in the 57th minute, after a second yellow card. An exceeded decision of the head referee for simulation, left Ludogorets with 10 players on the field.

Just 3 minutes later the second equalizing goal was scored by Rukavina, who had also scored in Razgrad.

Dinamo’s player Samir broke Svetoslav Dyakov’s cheekbone in the 65th minute, however, he was only given a yellow card.

The most contested referee decision was at the end of the match. Felix Zwayer awarded 5 minutes of extra time, but the real time was prolonged until a goal of Dinamo, scored in the 98th minute.
