Ludogorets keeps making history. The Eagles beat Botev of Plovdiv 3-1 and won the Bulgarian Super Cup 2014. This is the second golden treble for the club following the first one in 2012.

Ludogorets had a hard challenge at Lazur Stadium in Burgas facing the tough team from Plovdiv which played very well. The yellow blacks took the lead by Gamakov’s goal in the first half. With seconds remaining before half time Alexandar Kolev from Botev received his second yellow card and was sent off.

Ludogorets totally outplayed Botev in the second half and logically came out the winner of the match. The substitute Virgil Misidjan levelled, Marcelinho scored for giving the champions the 2-1 lead, and the Ludogorets new signing Younes Hamza made it 3-1 in the last seconds of the match.
