Ludogorets has completed its second transfer of the summer by signing a key player from German side Kaiserslautern. The new addition to the Bulgarian champions is Czech defensive midfielder Filip Kaloc. The 24-year-old joins from the 2. Bundesliga team, where he had a strong season and was one of the standout figures in their fight for promotion to Germany's top division.
The two clubs successfully concluded negotiations, after which Kaloč underwent medical examinations and has already joined Ludogorets’ training camp in Austria. He is expected to make his debut in the upcoming friendly matches during the summer preparations.

The midfielder played 30 matches and scored 3 goals last season for Kaiserslautern. Prior to that, he played for Vitkovice and Banik Ostrava, where he began his professional career. He also has 21 appearances for the Czech Republic’s youth and U21 National teams.
Kaloc is the second new signing for Ludogorets since the start of their summer training camp. Recently, the 14-time Bulgarian champions also signed Stanislav Ivanov from Arda.
