Ludogorets transferred defender Gonzalo Avila Gordon Pipa to Spanish Burgos. The two clubs finalized negotiations on the deal on Friday, with the defender set to join his new team and make his official debut soon. The right-back will play on loan in the Segunda Division team until June 30, 2025, with an option for his purchase in the contract.

This is Pipa's second relegation within a year. Last summer, the Spanish right-back was loaned to English side West Bromwich Albion, for whom he made 18 appearances in the Championship.

Gonzalo Avila Gordon was brought to Ludogorets in February 2023 by the Greek Olympiakos. For the thirteen-time champions, the right-back played 20 matches in all tournaments, and at the end of the 2022/2023 season, he became the champion and winner of the Bulgarian Cup.

Ludogorets wishes Pipa success in Burgos!
