The Slovenian specialist Ante Simundza was dismissed from the post of head coach of Ludogorets. The decision was made after the home match with Pirin on Sunday, which the champions loss 0:1. Simundza's assistants are temporarily staying with the team to assist the new coach, whose name will be announced soon.

Simundza was appointed head coach of Ludogorets in January 2022. Under his leadership, the team became champions for the 11th time and played in the Europe League groups.
